This white coil-built bowl is crafted using a combination of two earthenware clays, one of which has been delicately tinted with a porcelain pink stain. The interplay of natural clay tones creates a subtle yet striking contrast throughout the piece. After being fired to maturity, the bowl exhibits a durable, vitrified surface that highlights the texture and colour variations inherent in the clays. To preserve its finish and enhance the surface depth, the bowl has been carefully sealed with Renaissance Wax, providing a soft sheen and added protection while maintaining the integrity of the natural materials.
